After suffering an injury during Round 2 aboard Rafter H Rodeo Livestock’s Under the Influence, bull rider Reid Oftedahl was forced to withdraw from the 2022 NFR.Oftedahl, from Raymond, Minnesota, was thrown forward, struck the head of the bull, and was thrown to the arena floor.The Justin Sportsmedicine Team diagnosed Oftedahl, who was wearing a helmet, with a closed head injury and transported him for further evaluation.The following information was provided by Justin Sportsmedicine team co-medical director and orthopedic surgeon Dr. Tandy Freeman to ProRodeo Sports News on Saturday morning:”He was admitted to the ICU at UMC Trauma Center with a head injury and a neck injury on Friday night, December 2, and he’s in stable condition.
