Barrelman Robbie Hodges puts out music single 2022

Robbie Hodges, a barrelman at the 2010 National Finals Rodeo, has extended his ability outside the rodeo field into the music business.

Hodges’ most recent undertaking makes them sing vocals on the tune “Rodeo in the Rain,” with the band the Durangos.

Hodges, who has been a barrelman in the PRCA beginning around 2005, collaborated with guitarist Bruce Smith of The Georgia Satellites and Jimmy Ginn of the Ginn Music Group for the arrival of their first single.

The single is presently accessible on Apple Music, iTunes, Spotify, and others.

“This is my subsequent single and I have been petty with the guitar for 10 to 15 years,” Hodges said. “I met Bruce on a Lynyrd Skynyrd Tour on a journey we went on. We have been dearest companions from that point forward. Bruce does each piece of this (new tune) aside from the drums and the vocals. I particularly appreciate doing this. I’m 54 years of age and I have been working the barrel pretty much the entire life. I’m not having any desire to resign. I simply maintained that something good times should do.

“I’m truly glad for this (melody, Rodeo in the Rain). It is a toe tapper.”
