Tracker Point Capital, the private value firm dispatched by Bennett Goodman, who helped to establish Blackstone (NYSE:BX) Inc credit arm GSO Capital Partners, has recruited a previous Blackstone chief, three individuals acquainted with the matter said on Tuesday.
Melvin Hibberd, 37, will join Hunter Point Capital in January one year from now, the sources said. He was beforehand an overseeing chief at Blackstone’s Strategic Capital Holdings unit that obtains stakes in elective resource directors.
Hibberd is among a line of Blackstone chiefs to leave the celebrated private value company’s multifaceted investments unit – Blackstone Alternative Asset Management unit (BAAM).
A Hunter Point Capital representative didn’t quickly react to a solicitation for input.
